Given the amount of money lost /stolen/fraudulently taken from the USA every year by scammers

And knowing that every email/im/internet posting is read by the NSDA(?) I think it is that correct me please)

Why can't more resources be put to better use and diverted to stopping the scams, instead of the false alarms about terrorists that don't exist?

), just those flagged with "suspicious" words. They could expand those to include scammers, or even set up an automatic system that adds a warning to the message, but there's still going to be idiots who keep hoping it's true, and thinking maybe one day it will be true.

Personally, if I get a job at the NSA, I'd push for it. But who wants someone called hacker9 working for the NSA? Wink

(besides the NSA, of course.)

So one day this FBI geek decides that yes, he will put a spam filter in place to round up as many scam e-mails as he can. Now I get around 10 a day into 1 account, a small figure by a long way I know. Now Agent Geek gets to see all the 'risky free' e-mails going into North America.

I just hope he has a fairly large size inbox and that his bosses aren't too annoyed when the server goes BANG!!
