My grandpa lives in Spain, and all his life he has been living with a polish woman. However, last month, the polish women went back to Scandinavia - and lefdt my grandpa alone in Spain. He think it's okei to live alone there, so that is not the problem.

I talked to him on MSN today, and he bragged about his new girl. 27 year old "Jennifer" from The Gambia. "Jennifer" lived in an apartment in the city where my grandpa lives, with a lot of her friends . also from The Gambia. That's when I started to get worried, because you can hear so much bad things in the media.

- She is from West Africa
- She is living with other from The Gambia
- SHe is 27. My grandpa is 72.

I think that maybe she is sent out to my grandpa by the others to get into is life, and then slowly take all the money from him.

What to do?

That seems to be the potentially troublesome part. Why don't you casually ask him how they met?

Well, yes, any 27 y.o. living with an elderly man will immediately set off alarm bells. Being Gambian doesn't necessarily mean she's going to scam him. The main issue is whether your grandfather is "with it" such that he can make his own decisions. If he is, then there is only so much you can do.

She left an ad in the newspaper where she told that she was availeble to clean his house etc etc. My grandpa called, and now they are together.

Sounds more like she just wanted to get a job as an au pair or housekeeper to get out of the Gambia. It's not the usual 'love scam' approach, advertising for work in a newspaper.

The astronomical age difference is the worrisome part. Just keep asking questions. He's a grown man & he can do what he wants, esp. if he's w/ it like JM said.

If it was my grandpa, I'd cut straight thru the bullshit & just come right out & say look you horny devil, I know perfectly well why you moved the little tart in, but you better keep your money in your own pockets b/c she damn well didn't move in b/c of your charming personality or any other delusions you may be under.

And hopefully crush her w/ all the dead weight. I would also encourage bondage so if it does go down that way, she really will have a hard time getting out of that one.
