I knew it was going to be bad yesterday...Here is the Satellite photo of what I was facing for rush hour last night. My normal 20-25 minute drive home turned into over 2 hours.
I got out my trusty snowblower and blew all the neighbors again - twice last night and early this morning. I had to clear a special path in the yard so Timmy, the wonder weiner, had a place to go.
Here he is, sniffing around for the proper spot...
He followed me to the fence when I was leaving for work...Check out the snow drift to the left...
A dog and his boy...neither one of us can wait till it's hawaiian shirt weather again.

Very nice photos of your weiner Reprob8. I just checked the thermometer. Its a cold 58 and we are expecting a storm in the next few days. I don't know what is easier, shoveling snow every year, or what I did this week. I dug a footing, mixed 25 sacks of concrete and mortar, placed 50 cinderblocks and hammered in a hundred dollars of rebar into a retaining wall on a slope. My back is screaming for some vitamin V. A neighbor commented about my working in an Aloha shirt.
Edit- just read that you blew the neighbors three times in a day. I would rather work on a retaining wall once every 20 years. |

The west of Ireland got 1 inch of snow yesterday and shut down, I was in Ballyhaunis for the radio show, it was gorgeous, snow, monochromatic landscapes, and everyone was indoors safely away from the roads.
Schools let out early, businesses closing early so everyone could get home early
I spent 2 winters in Anchorage, loved it, here? they close down everything for an inch of snow???????/ |
