Years ago creative on the soundblaster16 (i think) had a text to speech engine - however theres could sing.

Soundblaster havent made that in years, so i cant find it Sad

A computer singing to a lad is me aim - microsoft sam sounds too robotic or stephen hawkins, but these old ones sound real, they could sing, with a lot of configuration they would sound really quite human - i dunno why creative didnt keep them circa 1994 they were around

Anyone know of a modern one freeware, must have the ability to sing
