I also like to tell the Lad that I've already sent the processing fees to (aka) Dr. Smith.

Then wait for the Lad to send me the "only HE can administer my funds" and that I have fallen victim to "Dr. Smith and his gang of unscrupulous fraudsters" e-mail and phone message.

OR

Wait for the Lad to send me an e-mail with a "Dr. Smith" signature as he tries to take over the scam... Laughing

yastreb, I don't know why you would doubt that the UN email was genuine?

If Kofi Annan came out of retirement to personally advise you of the compensation fund, it must be real!

We advise you to state back as you reply our email between the two options of the transfer you desire.
We will be anxiously waiting to hear from you regarding the transfer of your compensation fund.

They attached a PDF of Form 105 issued by the Department of Treasury -"FOR A PERSON DEPARTING OR ENTERING THE UNITED STATES, OR A PERSON SHIPPING, MAILING, OR RECEIVING CURRENCY OR MONETARY INSTRUMENTS". They are, of course, assuming that I'm American.

They got this back:

BTW - the Zenith Bank is in Nigeria - I don't know who you think you're kidding sending this with Benin in the headers, but it's only making you look like a prize dickhead.

I'm hoping the reference to Nigeria will get them worked up!
