What the hell is it? I can't find anything understandable about it.

It keeps asking ZoneAlarm if it can connect to the internet.

lsass.exe is a windows system process. Incidentally the name also gets exploited by worms such as sasser. After the recent update ZoneAlarm comes up with this dialogue you mentioned so chances are your PC hasn't been infected - in any case I think you can safely deny access to the internet zone.

Try searching your PC for "lsass.exe" and check the change dates of the versions in windows\system32, the dll-cache and ServicePackFiles\i386 (presuming WinXP). Change date for SP 2 files should be 08/04/2004 with a filesize of 13.312 Bytes.
