The good barrister is refusing to perform the tasks necessary to get his $25,000 administrative fee

Chronology of my lad's "lines in the sand":
Nov 12: Barrister sends me a probate document that must be filled out (by me) in order to do a bank transfer for $25M.
I ask him for another one, telling him it's for the wrong bank, but say nothing about the fact the decedent is still alive.
He refuses to give me a new one.
I tell him no contract, no $$

Nov 26: Lad signs new contract (revised only 4 times), countersigned by barrister (lad). No further mention of Probate document.

Dec 10: I inform barrister that DHS requires a 2-page form to be completed before balance transfer can happen.
Barrister refuses, wants me to send $$.
I say "Nope".

Dec 13: Barrister returns completed DHS form.

Dec 19: I give the Barrister the bad news that DHS requires another form to be filled out, due to his responses on the first form- more pages this time.

Dec 21: Barrister absolutely refuses to fill out 2nd form.

Dec 22: I inform Barrister that we can proceed with another method (i'm cooking up a far worse agreement), but DHS will most certainly nix the transfer.

Dec 26: Barrister reiterates his stance.
I do not respond.

Dec 27: Barrister sends completed 2nd form.
I think there's going to be a problem with this one too.....

I cannot believe your Lad missed the Christmas payday... Shocked

It appears that his New Years celebration will be underfunded as well.
Make sure that you guarantee that his Chinese New Year celebration includes expensive party favours.... Laughing

I have a Lad now that has been form filling for 2 months. He cried with joy 3 days before Christmas when all was approved and he was sent 3 ($2,900 each) BLURRY WU receipts. After sending them, I was obviously away at my private ski chalet drinking cognac and frolicking on the slopes. I was unreachable.
Unfortunately his Christmas was spent in the internet cafe sending me TOP URGENT mails and burning credits on his mobile instead of his planned 4 day Christmas stupor.
My inbox has wet Kleenex tissue messages and my voice mailbox required a paper bag to keep the Lad from hyper ventilating with frustration. Laughing

I have a feeling your lad will NOT have a happy New Year's either...

Mine will come to know the joy of Irrevocable Letters of Credit tied to multiple contractual agreements.... when it comes to nit picking, the DHS has nothing on bankers! Twisted Evil
