There has been some question recently as to what to call the Pinay scammers,
In light of the recent Noob Sticky we are seeking suggestions as to what we call them.
Some say Pinay, some say Phad, some may say something else completely different so what do you think? |

I've always called them Pinays because we had no other word for them, but phad rhymes with lad and Vlad so sounds good to me.
(edit) - What do you expect off me 20 minutes after getting up. I haven't even had my first cup of tea yet  |

Just curious to know what the 1 "other" vote is for, perhaps it is good name for them but unless it is posted we sadly may never know 
I do like the idea of have the names rhyme and use phad it will save having to make too many changes to what we have done in the sticky

I went with Pinay as well, I know, it doesn't go with lad or vlad, but suits them better |

After some intensive (read about 2 minutes on Google) studying, Stepan and I came up with two words that could be perfect. We took into account the fact that most scammers from the Philippines would use Tagalog as their first language.
In Tagalog
bulaan means liar
daga means rat
We tried words like robber, thief, scammer, but either couldn't find a match or they were too long/difficult to say |
