The Nigeria Sports Commission has until thursday to account to the Nigerian Government where the missing 37 million dollars have gone, out of their allocated 43 million dollars for 2007.

The Government are refusing to approve the 2008 sports budget, until the matter has been resolved.

With no Government support, there will be no Nation Cup Finals, 2010 World Cup qualifiers and the country's teams in all sports at the Olympic Games in Beijing will be without state support.

President Umaru Yar'adua has pledged to stamp out corruption in the country. Confused

This information came from www.bbc.co.uk under football.

That has to be one of the funniest things I have read in a very long time. Seriously.

Guess we can shut this site down.

Now what a coincidence, somebody called Charles Soludo from Nigeria offered me 30% of $37.000000 to help him invest that in my country. Now where do I have that email.....
