paypal error

Im getting an error on paypal saying:

I tried 3 first my bank visa - nope 2nd my mastercard - nope
3rd time it gave

Its never given any error before, as its how i pay my eater membership, wondering if its broken? or are others having issues with it?

who posted about that black friday thing - well i think its true, everything that can be complicated just got complicated - technology bah use the post its easier lol.

check if you're on the right site, if not close accounts.
if on the right site, check account online, if not correct, close them and phone company.
Still not, phone company, a number is a number, if, they should have info.
Check if spouse/partner has used it online lately.
I wanna know what went wrong there, please post back once you find out.

Well according to paypal its a paypal error on verification

Notice there isnt a place to put the credit card type, as a result it cant verify, and be used. the problem is i registered all 3 cards.

Im sorting out what i needed it for via royal mail - its quicker but im still left with paypals broken website, I have since spoken to paypal, they know theres an issue but im stuck till it gets fixed Sad

The solution - unknown
My advice, dont register if your doing a quick pay online with paypal its not quick it will atm lock itself up.

Oh and its defo paypal real website, i wrote it in myself and checked the link by hand.

im still laughing at paypal, imagine having a form and forgetting to add a field for the vital bit of info - no wonder it cant verify lol.

But it was driving me nuts, i should have just clicked confirm, instead thought i use paypal a lot so an account would be better- that was me mistake, it was a bug waiting to be found.

I just used Paypal to buy a flashlight from Dealextreme with no problems at all. The first number of the credit card is unique to the card company. Someone's head is going to roll at Paypal over this.

@ Connie the problem isnt buying things lol, its when you choose to register the cards, see it knows the basic details - hence it can say "register card details ending in 1234

But the page that does the registering is missing a field for the card type, so the next bit of paypal program throws you back to the original screen saying "enter card type" which you will find you cant, so ya think "inspiration, i know ill go right back to the account and start over... "Verify card(s)" and you get once more that lovely screen, if you think then "oh hell ive had enough and go right to the direct buy page, where you dont need a paypal you get "You cannot use this card for this transaction"
I tried it this morning and it seems to verify one card but the other 2 still stuck, Mastercard - verified - egg - stuck(Visa)

EDIT: the main site is now repaired and has a brand new field Smile
