My wife got the flu shot...and promptly came down with the flu for two weeks! 
It then passed on to my my daughter for two or three days.
So far I have not been affected.  |

I've got 'Man Flu' which a whole lot worse let me tell you.
The only cure is to stay in bed and watch as much daytime tele as you can stomach. Drink lots of honey and lemon drinks laced with malt whiskey.
It was a bit touch and go for a while there, but I think I'll Pull through.  |

Had to get my flu shot immediately as I have serious lung problems and the flu would be a disaster for me.
Think of the elderly and infirm and get your flu shots please.. not all of them will have gotten their shots, if they get the flu it could be fatal. |

I should be due my appointment card any time now. I never needed one until a few years ago, when I developed asthma. I'm petrified of needles*, but still get it done, as do both my sons.
*Long story that happened over 20 years ago. Even thinking about it makes my skin crawl. |
