Got me a Lad that is my favorite pet, but in my bait there are twists and turns every day and lately some hacker (me) broke into his machine and to mine and took over the bait, making me pay him thinking i was paying the Lad, then the Hacker contacted the Lad, to strike a deal but the Lad refused and warned me about the hacker sending me all the mails the hacker sent him.
Now the hacker is quiet upset, because the victim hired an IT company to repair and fix all the damage the hacker has done, so the hacker is now of the deal...and very angry, so as the hacker is a terrible VLAD belonging to one of the most brutal crime families in Russia, he know wants to put a "contract" on the lad's head, 10.000$ paid by WU ( Rolling Eyes

) on Pic of dead Lad.

well having some details on the lad, would it be right if i would send out a mass mail to all the mail addies of known lads with the contract and details of the Lad? what IF he actually gets popped off?

Interesting - can a lad be an ITP?

I wouldn't do it because it promotes violence that is out of my control. I prefer to have my lads hurt THEMSELVES, so there is nothing to blame but their own greed. Inadvertently hiring a hit-man to go after your pet is a little dicey in my head.

Interesting to see how it shapes up either way, though.

well i have not done it YET @rodus, it's just a twist im considering at the moment...

Make no mistake tho, by no means a boy lad.

I want him to feel chased...my fear is that someone might be stupid enough and actualy do it...then i would miss his 20m phone calls from Nigeria, and the all the lovelly SMS i get on my mobile.

that could lead to some serious moral and legal issues...

Don't worry about the phone calls etc, there are plenty more lads out there who also think it's good to talk.

legal issues - and leo's are going to prove that you had a part in getting a 419 scammer to meet his untimely demise and extradite you to his home country to stand trial? That's just a wee bit unlikely.

This is without a doubt the worst idea i have ever come across in my time here.

Send an ASEM to hundreds of lads asking for a confirmed kill pic of a lad for 10 grand???
Lads will terrorise an ITP to get a sign pic, for 10 grand i,m sure they would slot some poor bastard and claim its your lad.
I,m all for getting some scumbag wasted but i think it needs to be a bit more controlled.
If i read this whole thing wrong i apologise but somehow i think i didn,t.

If you get a confirmed kill, you will earn:
1 A whole new sig icon, perhaps a tomb stone
2 A whole new ethics thread, where many will be offended or elated, or varying degrees of both
3 Possible interest by Interpol
4 A very long "expose" article about how evil scam baiters are (this would certainly prove it to some people)
5 Possible regret later in life. While the lads are scummy pieces of shit, scarming little old ladies out of their retirement funds, etc, killing them is, IMO, a bit extreme. Life, even of a worthless scarmer, is irreplaceable. Trust me, if you have him killed, it will not be fun, and you will most likely regret it. It's better to humiliate and bankrupt them!

Lastly, not being a lad hugger, but... as Bombardier rightly pointed out, any one of the lads might be willing to put a toe tag on the wrong mugu for a chance at the "reward" money. That, alone, would be a deal breaker for me, but... you do whatever you feel tight about, and be sure to share with the rest of us!

this is a very powerful argument. and a valid point too, on the whole it worries me as miuch as the damage that such an action could do to the comunity, and the adverse impact on the fight against this scum.

as i said this is just a discussion about an idea.

yes i can too, that was in fact the idea that originated this thinking...

the thought was just there one given moment of how nice ti would feel for him to feel chased.

i am very awere of my own opinions and of general angles that could be negative for the baiting comunity, and from the onset i could see a lot of issues with the idea, and even if tempted, it is nevertheless just an idea.

having said that i posted here beacuse i needed to hear from other people that my own arguments are right and its probably an idead that would lead to situations not only out of my control, but with also practical negative aspects on the comunity.

So far I have always done my best to avoid the ethics threads. But you did ask for different opinions, right? So I will offer up my two cents just this once. Just understand that I do not mean to step on any toes here. I'm just trying to give my own personal opinion and it may not work for some people. So here is my own viewpoint, which you can "take it or leave it" as you see fit:

I don't understand what the big fuss is over the ethics involved in most of the issues that are brought up. Scambaiting in and of itself is a form of vigilantism, which is not an ethical pursuit to begin with. Sure, we want our politicians to follow certain ethical standards, because they represent us. We want our business partners to remain ethical, because they reflect on us in our business dealings. We want ethical scientists and ethical doctors. But ethical vigilantism? In my baiting, I don't focus on ethics so much as results vs consequences. If I can bankrupt a lad, that is results. If I have to spend a lot of time and money in the process, that is consequences. I won't involve an ITP in my baits, not due to ethics, but because that is not a desirable consequence. If, however, an ITP loans my lad some money on the promise of a big payoff, and then after the lad twigs, the guy comes and hunts him down and beats the phooey out of him, that is a good consequence.
There are other similar issues. Cash baiting? I'm not against it, because it's a good result. I haven't ever done it, because it never came up in one of my baits. But IF it should ever happen that my bait suggested a cash-baiting modality, I wouldn't refrain simply due to the ethics of it. But I wouldn't publish it due to possible consequences for eater. If it ever hit the newspapers that eater was encouraging people to cash bait, it would be bad news all the way around.
And then there is your idea for a hit. I definitely wouldn't publish it in the forum. I wouldn't make it easy for an ITP to be involved. And I wouldn't send out a mass bait suggesting it to random lads. One of them will forward your email to the police, sure as anything. And just because your IP doesn't show up in your header doesn't necessarily mean that you cannot be found if interpol were looking.
It's just a question of consequences. But if I could safely kill a lad, I probably would.

Like I said, it's just my own opinion. Take it or leave it.

I would just recommend sending out the lad's picture on a photoshopped gay pr0n magazine instead. Send it out to the surrounding lads. If anything, he will get heckled. Maybe include that he steals people's magas as well. That would add a nice touch.
