I am just getting started with a new character in the hopes of rebaiting a couple of lads but have also picked up some new ones.

I first chatted with him the end of September when he was age 44 living in Texas, had a 17 yo son and a friend of his had an affair with his ex-wife.

The next time he chatted with me he was from Accra, age 26, never been married and had no children.

He is going with the second story.

He's sticking to the second story. He's the first lad who didn't pull out the old lad line, "age is just a number" when my character said she was too old for him. Instead he started calling her mum and asked to be adopted.
He wants to come to the States for his education.

So he is now filling out an 11 page adoption form, which will be my first form trophy. I suspect there are many other forms in his future. Wink

He sent a copy of his birth certificate and the adoption application back.

The application is pathetic, he was supposed to print it out, fill it in by hand and scan it back. All he did was edit a Word document, it has to be done again.

Redshoes, in the future you can lock the word document to stop them doing that. Also make sure you take your personal details out of the user info.

In addition to personal history - BEWARE - Word documents save a history of changes just like a web browser saves your browsing history. Be sure you've disabled that feature before you send anything out in Word.

Not that any lads are smart enough to know this, but many people have been scandalized by what was found embedded in sent Word docs.

Sorry, I forgot all about your question.

In Word, if you allow Fast Saves, it writes a code at the end of your doc that saves all your changes as you were working as well. These can be revealed when someone receives your document and happens to notice that Track Changes and even the Undo Arrows are available.

Now that you know this . . . it might be fun to look through what people send you. Only bad thing is that you might discover things you didn't really want to know.

In Tools, Options, click on the Save tab. Uncheck the Allow fast saves, if it is checked. Now, when Word saves your document, it will write a fresh copy of the entire document to disk, without any hidden surprises like text you thought you deleted.

You can also right click on the document icon, go to properties and sometimes within those properties you will find information about the author of the document that is automatically saved from your computer.

Try it from something you have on your computer allready
