As a big fan of 419eater and scambaiting in general, I was most dismayed to have been well and truly caught out by a very clever scam operating at the moment - the bogus holiday club scam. According to the OFT this is the most common con going at the moment - yet I had never heard of it. Basically, you sign up for a holiday club thats supposed to ensure you have extremly cheap holidays for the rest of your life - the catch is you have to pay �8,000 in "membership fees".
