Got paid yesterday. Was sitting in work where I had a splitting sore head, counting down the seconds till I could leave... when at 3.20pm there was a powercut and we all got home (or to the pub across the street in my case) 2 hours early!
Then today, I put all my spare change on my fave football team to win 4-0 at odds of 8-1. Im now slightly richer!
I now plan to go and buy a lottery ticket. If you see a Scotsman holding a giant novelty cheque in the paper tomorrow, you'll know my numbers came up!

Congrats!
Were they at home or away? Mine won away 2-3 (after being 2-0 down at half time) and are now at the unknown dizzy heights of second in Scottish Div. 3. Apparently the away fan tried to invade the pitch at the final whistle but tripped over his guide dog,thus preventing a nasty set to.
I live absolutely nowhere near them but have a soft spot for an underdog. |

Quick update- Sadly, I won sweet nothing on the lottery. Looks like the luck Gods are no longer smiling on me.
Oh well, looks like no trip to Barcelona, eh B-S?
And Tommo, Im kinda the opposite- I live miles away from the team I support, but Im just a glory seeker! |

Dizny matter anyway! Permission has been denied from "she who must be obeyed". In her mind the three home-leg nights will be cheaper than one wee jaunt to Barca. I'm certainly not going to enlighten her to the fact that after 3 X tickets, Pre/post-match Mick Jaggers , taxis and kebabs get added on it's probably, nay it is, cheaper letting me go to Spain for one night. If I point this out then i'll no be going to either
