Hi all.

I'm new on this comunity but not new to scambaiting, let me explain.

Oh, and sorry for my bad english, i am french.

Ok. I must say that i have been getting 419 emails for a couple of years now and at first, i would do just like everyone and delete/ignore them, untill one day where i got fed up and replied to one. To my amazement, i got a reply right away and then, a fun waisting time relationship began with my interlocutor.

But... nothing like you guys did... oh no...

I was just having small boring fun compared to what you guys do.

So, since today, i can say that i am taking this a step further and am a complete scambaiter. (looking for a mentor, tho i have some experience.)

Yep, what everyone above said! You've found the finest baitery on the planet, and your English is just fine. We're used to reading stuff from lads, so even if you mis-spell or use bad grammar, we probably won't even notice. I do have a few "added pointers" for you, do with them as you will...

- You don't have to actually read the stickies, just scan through them really really carefully.

- Avoid making any comments about Nurse Nasty's short skirt or provocative attire.

- Never ask your lad to do anything you wouldn't do. Unless it would be funny.

- Bait Safe: This means safety for you. Your lads can fend for themselves.

I love having new members here. Sometimes, on those rare occasions, I do get a little perturbed by really, really, really silly things people say. Only to those who engage the mouth (or post button) before engaging the brain. It's rare I bite. My self-restraint is much better.

Overall 419eater has a brilliant, intelligent and devious collective. We're also baiter's, so we're a suspicious bunch of sarcastic, witty pricks. It's a character flaw we've learned to accept. Very Happy

four1nine_buster - if your English isn't perfect it will not matter at all. Many of my baiting characters cannot speak good English and it allows you to have a lot of fun, so don't bother making it perfect. If you read what the scammers write you will know that you have nothing to be concerned about.

I have even baited French scams though I wouldn't be good in a conversation. The fact is THEY have to communicate with YOU. Everything is their problem and their fault. I like making problems for a scammer to solve for me. That's their job. Very Happy

Well, i didn't read a lot on this forum besides the faqs and helps that you all suggested to read. And so far, NN seems to be a fine lady so i don't understand why i should worry. Wink

I'm sad now... no answer from my lads (2 to be precise...) i'm worried about them.

One question. Do you guys share about your fictional characters in here, or is it top secret? I mean, i know about Mrs Robinson... (She is great btw) but that's pretty much it. (my question might be out of line since i should have a browse around first... but since you all hijacked my welcome thread, i figured i could ask it! hehehe)

Edit: @ four1nine: Everyone is different about sharing their bait details. If you happen to use a fake/alias name such as Anita Kock or <-- Make the name blue by masking it. All a pet need do is google that name and figure out how much of a pr/ck you are. Laughing

Also, it is best to leave out your pets email address whenever you post. I've seen a few newer members jump in on someone elses bait w/out permission (might ruin things). Also remove your email out of headers if you post them.
