I just recently experienced this for the first time and got a real shudder down my spine! A lad that I'm in the first few emails with (I'm supposed to be in the US and he's supposed to be in Asia) name dropped a building I walk past every day at work! Now its not like I'm talking London or New York so I had to google the name drop which brought up scamfraudalert.com but there was definately a few seconds of heart stopping creepiness.

Anyone care to share any paranoid moments?

The closest has been a piece of spam very close to one of my baiting names to my regular email address.

You could try asking Don about being tracked to his door by Velocity. Shocked Wink

I was baiting a lad and asked him for WU outlets where I 'lived' in Paddington, London. He actually sent me a list of WU offices from my real life home town some 200+ miles away. Shocked Needless to say, our acquaintance was brief after that and I'm still alive.

Paranoid moments? I keep guiding the local UPS drivers on the phone to my house on a regular basis, and they even *have* my address. A certain eater member got stuck on the way to my house when his GPS led him into a road just wide enough for 2 cats. So they could accidentally mention my name and favorite bar in their scam letters and I wouldn't shit my pants.

Actually I think that Velocity's report is stuck in the mail somewhere, I trust his amazing hacking abilities!
