Just been conversing with Tasman and MurryGuru on their race thread...

... and it appears that many of the ladies don't want to meet any rich but foolish Western men this week at all. (For those of you not following the race there have been emails sent out from 5 baiters now, from the 2 guys mentioned, Reaper, Harry and myself) to 3 seperate Vlads. Zero replies. Nada. Nicht. Nils.

On the check front side of things I have sent out 3 emails last week replying to new cheque scammers, and got job offers from 2. I replied to them last Thursday, just confirming my interest and since then have heard..... Nothing.

On the side, and purely through inactivity, i started 2 half ars*d vanilla 419s last week also, just to pass the time. And.... you guessed it. Nothing since.

Is it just me?

Are we all having a quiet time of it?

I know it's August, and a lot of workplaces are quiet, but for some reason I can't quite picture a lad or vlad kicking back on a yacht in the Bahamas sipping a cold one for a week.
They surely don't holiday. Or am I wrong?

What else can they be up to that's making business so quiet?

I had only 10 emails in my catcher this morning, and 6 were phishing mails. My lads don't seem to want to talk at the moment so I share your pain Mugatu.

Only one lad is not responding as quickly as usual, the rest seem to be going normally. Most of my lads only e-mail once a day so it's hard to tell though.

I have had two of my lads tell me that they were celebrating Independence day in their respective countries. Guess that means no use of the internet cafe! Crying or Very sad

I was wondering that myself, my lads suddenly went real quiet.

Even the one that I emailed yesterday saying that I sent the money by Moneygram, she should have it shortly, and that I was going out of town for a few days...all the while convieniently forgetting to send the number.

Me too, all quiet on the Lad front apart from one who claims to be Swedish but e-mails from Spain. From others - 0.

I have been getting answers from my lads.

Here is a fun trick, when they do write you back, don't reply until about the same amount of time has passed. I love getting emails with subject of URGENT!!!

I sent approximately 46 lads to MoneyGram yesterday with the same details (via ASEM), and I've had plenty of complaints to sift through today. I've noticed a massive increase in spam mails in my catcher account (mostly Adobe crap), but I cant say I've really noticed a lad holiday Confused

My lads seem to always be quiet on Sundays for some reason, but yeah my inbox has been rather quiet recently. I figgered they were just doing that out of respect for the long weekend in Canada. Y'know, keep the customers happy sort of thing.

Yes, very quiet - I was wondering if it was because of a new character I'd introduced but I see its fairly general.

I'd got bored with the lack of traffic and sent off a bunch of new "tell me more"s and didn't get a lot back from that either.

Maybe its the annual Mugufest Scammers Conference and they'll all be back invigorated in a day or two?

Mugatu, be glad that I haven't pimped your number to my "I must speak to you on the phone NOW!" lad. He's called every day for the last week at least three times daily, and the first day no less than 25 times. I haven't yet spoken to him directly, it's always just rang or switched to a message service. He is EAGER.

EDIT: As well as being eager, he's an idiot when it comes to time zones. He arranges to call me at 8pm GMT, so what does he do? Calls at 8pm HIS TIME (one hour ahead of GMT) and so I miss his call. Nice to know he's wasting at least 35p each time he calls and leaves a message, though!

^^ Ha, I wouldn't worry about it, everyone else has been pushing their eager lads my way! Especially Grace, I can't get rid of that mad bitch. If our member who put her onto me ever comes in here, he's getting a slapped bottom. (He made 3 posts, handed out my number, then dissapeared!)

The phone business is very busy mate. Just not the email side of it.

Ah well, tomorrow is another day, let's hope they're back to work.
