Big mix-ups at the Western Union, as happens so often, you know how it is, and so I request from the "barrister" that the WU staff require the signature of the payment recipient underneath a little bit of text.

The text I asked for:

Quote:

ask Dr Williams E. James for the Dr's signature, and put that on a piece of paper with the words "I, the undersigned, acknowledge that I am the named recipient in this transaction through the Western Union Money Transfer service."

What do I get?

Quote:

"I Dr. Williams E. James, the undersigned, acknowledge that I am the named recipient in this transaction through the Western Union Money Transfer service. I don�t know why my signature should be required, but below is my signature." I will be responsible of any problems that may result from insecurity of the money transferred. Please attend to Rxxxxxx xx Vxxxxx and do any thing he wishes.

Well obviously Western Onion won't take that. With some of these lads you have to get so specific. Tell him it has to be a handwritten note, and see if he will snail mail it to you. Smile

That is the only way they are going to do business with you. He will probably tell you to go to moneygram after that though.
