Ha ha, when he wrote "elle est en scent", for a second I thought he was saying she was in sniffing distance, then I realized he meant enceinte (pregnant).

Yeah GG, this is probably what he meant, come to think of it. the word he was looking for is probably "indicate" in french, which is not "endicter".

EDIT: I have edited my translation. I had my wife take a look at it and she had different ideas about the translation.

EDIT 2: Red, i'd tell him you have no clue of what he is saying. IF you wan't a french text saying just that, i can write it for you.

Meanwhile he emailed M1ch today to ask why he hadn't heard from her or the Father in a few days. I emailed back saying we had been travelling and for security reasons needed to take the long route. M1ch was exhausted and left it at that. She said the Father would contact him back.

Please keep in mind this lad has been in Guinea-Bissau for at least two weeks... on top of everything else. He tends to get a little hot under the collar when I don't respond within a day or two giving him direction as you can imagine that every day he sits in a foreign country doing nothing is a day wasted. Hopefully he'll move through Senegal to The Gambia.

If that is true I think Dad would be very pissed to discover his son is a scammer.

So, after all this time, he is finally stranded with no friends to help him. Sheesh... took long enough. Well, onward to Gambia he must go. I decided to recommend another hotel (probably the most expensive in Banjul... it looked really nice!):

His IP has also changed, he is still in Guinea-Bissau, but this is the first time the IP has actually come up as the country (and not "satellite"). Which leads me to believe he is either in another town or is using another cafe.

Either way, sounds like a good result.

Shame about the $50 from Ch1ma but not much I can do about that... he'll have to claim it back off the lad himself... and I'm sure he'll do it with much more vigour than I ever could. Speaking of which I have been reading through the emails and picking together bits and pieces and from what I can gather he has borrowed a lot of money from a lot of people... this may be why he is reluctant to give up and go home Laughing

I looked up the Duma... it actually sounds like an alright backpackers. I didn't want to help him find accommodation unless I had to though, that's his job, it's all part of the travelling adventure. He'll find someone suitably cheap and crap.
