A friend of mine sent me a scam test from McAfee. It tests how good you are at detecting scams and phishing sites.

, I had it correct and then changed my mind, both seemed like they could be phishy, in my defence, I have never had a PayPal account, but if I saw the url I would have known which was fake.

I missed the Chase Loan app one. Like SP, I had it right then changed my mind, but would have known from the URL. Embarassed

I got 8/10 also, though to be fair, my computers crap and I couldn't read alot of the small print.

I looked more at the format of the pages than the grammar. Luckily I have not, and will not, ever visit MySpace.

And also, beware of the Zimbabwean 404 scam.

9/10 failed on Amazon. I picked the Amazon one with the non-secure server log-in option assuming you would always have trouble logging-in using the encrypted.On the other hand most of the reasons they give weren't what I picked the fake sites out for so maybe I just fluked it.

In defence, I dont use half of those sites and I wouldnt respond to emails requeting information anyway.

Who would really look for exclamation marks? It is obvious with the wording whan they not so good at some spelling and sometimes brilliant grammar, but a question mark? Damn it.
