Moreover, I think you have had two good ideas today that have potential.....

One being the "Business Today" : getting a scammer to advertize his format

The other one is your being a WU Call Centre agent and using this as a motivator for getting a group of lads fight on the phone : same MTCN !

After spending the first hour convincing the modem, router and computer to all play nice, I finally managed to hear the second hour. Loved the bit with the Western Union call centre agent, looking forward to that one being used again. Hope to be there for the whole show next week.

The first tape is about 2 minutes which starts with me setting off from Paris.

I've only just realised he actually travelled Lagos to Cotonou and back, twice. Maybe he had some homework to hand in.

Some of the others may need editing, though part of his appeal was his insane method of rationalising matters in minute detail and then coming up with the most bizarre conclusion.

How would you like me to send them ? There are about 12 in all and I can include a short written note of what's going on with each of them, if I can remember. I'll edit any that are just too long.

I'll get them in order with times then maybe you can use them to fill up some time, if needed, on a regular basis. If I get the first 3 ready before Sunday, then you can play them, or not, in whatever way you fancy.

Okay I'll send the first one which is a reasonable length right now.

It's 2 minutes 6 seconds.

I'm calling from the airport in Paris (not really) as Ludmi||a, and Shorty is using the name of Mr Bruce. He tells me to stop speaking to Mr 0latunji, which is one of Mr G0mer's aliases.

The cast of characters - only Shorty's is his real photo, but the photos shown were used in the bait

I know he only looks about 14 years old, but I have other photos, and other baiters got other photos and they were all the same, and he got the nickname 'Shorty' because he always mentioned in his mails that he was 'very short', which cracked me up. Very Happy

I've uploaded the second tape where Shorty misses Ludmi||a at the airport and returns to Lagos - twat !!!! - but good, 'cause now he has to come back to Cotonou. Very Happy

I'm ringing from the Hotel Sheraton in Cotonou and tell him to move his ass back to Cotonou, and very obediently, Shorty agrees to doas he's told, with interesting consequences. Very Happy

The next tape shows how much hard work Shorty was.

Having arrived in Cotonou and Shorty missing me at the airport, he went back to Lagos. He then returned to Cotonou, only to get kicked out of the Hotel Sheraton where I was suposed to be staying.

Meantime Ludmi||a was kidnapped by 0latunji (alias Mr G0mer) and was flown to Murla Mohammed airport in Lagos. Shorty never questioned how you can transport a hostage victim on a commercial flight, and in spite of his painful need to examine every minute detail of a situation, he always managed to overlook the fundamental implausability of the whole situation.

I call him from the Ladies loo at Murla Mohammed airport. Very Happy

The recording is just over 8 minutes long, basically trying to get it into his thick skull where I am so that he can rescue me.

Of course I never considered that with armed security guards at the airport, mucking about in the Ladies loo could be fraught with peril for him. Very Happy

I haven't listened to these in ages - the next ones a beauty.

The first recorded mention of his famous catchphrase "I'm a short guy - a very short guy" but his e-mails always included it.

Shorty describes the ninja outfit he'll be wearing for the hostage rescue - all black - and that he's arranging a police raid on the Ladies loo. Shocked
