All that aside, these forums are some of the better ones I've seen/been in. Granted that's just my opinion

And the Mods do deserve some share of the praise for that.

Confessions of a newb Eater...

In general the mods have been good to me. In the some odd weeks I have been here, I've learned they can be pretty grumpy at times. Partly, I am to blame cos I'm a newb. I don't know any better - that's what makes me a newb. I got slapped by a mod once for something I think did not deserve a slapping. I almost left the Eater at this time when you guys need all the help you can get. I stuck with it because ONE of the regulars became my friend.

I say this to most mods. Lighten up! You can be cheerful and still enforce discipline. A lot of mods can slap you and make you feel like wanting more. Teach us newbs. We will appreciate it by growing in ranks to slay the moogies that are also growing in number.
