I got this email...Its; totally random but has the odour of scam about it...but it's plain weird. Anyone seen this sort of thing before???????? It appears to be the cheap product, bouncy cheque type scam...but read the text underneath.......

Or is it some person with a strange fetish just emailing random cheap products with extracts of short stories??????

It is SPAM that may be scam as well... the random text is meant to fool SPAM filters to think it's a legit Email...

The low prices on the products could indicate a scam similar to phone lad scams... or dealing with counterfeit software...

EDIT: B&B types faster... Wink

really cheap software,downloadable only, NO CD, NO Manufacturer or tech support.

Quote:
2. Basic Conditions of Purchasing at Downloadable Software online store
2.1. You are informed that the software is in English language only unless noted differently on the site or by the Support representative;
2.2. You will thoroughly follow the downloading and installation instructions on your account;
2.3. You cannot register the software with the manufacturer and updates are available not for all the products;
2.4. You do not receive printed license documentation;
2.5. You do not receive a copy of the software on a disk.

2.6. The Store will assist the Customer with downloading and installation issues. We will not provide technical support after the software product is downloaded and installed; neither will it be available from the manufacturer of the software product.

The above (color added by me) would indicate that the offers 'might' be in violation of some laws?

Thanks everyone. I read the "testimonials" on that site. It's an amicable but dodgy attempt to write in casual english.

I am telling people about your site. Both products and service are worth propagation. Michael Hogan

I have already told a medical doctor about your software and your customer service quality. Thanks again, Stu Kopelman

A good attempt boys, but not enough to fool our eyes.

I am recieving these e-mails too and have visited the sites. They are different locations, but all have the same graphics and layout.

They are a rip-off. The testimonials are hilarious. Really bad use of language and they all seem to state 'THE SOFTWARE DID NOT LOAD, IT WAS CORRUPTED NOR DID I HAVE ANY FINANCIAL COMEBACK BUT THEY ARE A GREAT OLD BUNCH OF LADS AND I WOULD RECOMMEND THEM" They are trying to give you the idea that the software has flaws, no support and no updates yet they are a great company.

I have reported most of mine.

Ps The poetry in most of the mail is awful too!!!
