It's probably been thought of before, but...

aa419.org has a web program that you simply leave running, and it downloads image after image from fake banks and other fronts for scammers until their bandwidth allocation is used up. That's an excellent idea, but many scammers just need a laptop, a message and an e-mail account to bilk people out of their money. So how do you shut down an inbox? Bomb it!

It wouldn't be difficult to create a program that would store a database of e-mail addresses and create large messages full of nonsense characters, images, and large attachments. You could build something to do this in MS Access. Then just create five or six Hotmail accounts and plug them in as a separate list, have your program use OLE to interface with Outlook to send the messages, and let it go! Get a few hundred people on this board to do the same and you'd clog the scammers' inboxes with so much junk they'd never be able to paw through it for the one or two responses from a valid mark. If it seems they're catching on and blocking messages, you just create new mail accounts. You do it every day anyway; use the accounts for bait characters you're finished with as spam accounts before you let them lapse. Give the lads back what they do to our inboxes, in SPADES!

The question is the legality. The image download page just sits there and hotlinks; practically untraceable. E-mails however are highly trackable, especially when you have a computer sending out a few thousand of them per day. So, would scam-spamming end up getting you in trouble, or would it be a useful tool for people once the scammer has twigged?

Sorry, but we have a policy against mail bombing.

Please read a couple of the previous threads:
