You remember that lad with really flowery English? Well, I think he's given up on scamming me, but he has a sense of humor. I responded to him once more after this and he didn't get back to me, so I have a feeling my correspondence with him may be over. Confused

Like i said in an earlier post on how i found myself here, my thinking would be that its quite easy to end up here even if you were nt searching.

the EFCC link , when u google it has some other sites like this one appear as well.

and lads if they really think that they are wise should always check out the competition and their strategies.

From my observation of the whole scam thing , it will be gone soon in the format that its been done now.it is 'nt as huge as it was few years back.

Most of these lads die tragically early, I got lots of examples of how they always end up dead in mysterious circumstances.

It's a mixed blessing really if the scammers come across this site. On the down side it means they're probably going to pick out who are the baiters and who are the real victims easier (unless we get better at imitating real victims), but on the up side they're going to have a lot more doubts when scamming - thinking about whether this person they're talking to is actually taking them for a ride or not.

I think it's inevitable that as baiting becomes more and more popular (as it hopefully will) scammers will become better and better at picking us out. I guess then it's up to us to respond to that and become better baiters - we can't really afford to just pick on the easy guys, as they're probably not the ones actually scamming money out of real victims.

Funny, ask him the explanation of what a baiter is. What is he going to say, internet vigilantes who impersonate victims to scam the scammer, he would be incriminating himself as a scammer.

This is also good because if he requests nude photographs of potential victims they will obviously not oblige to his bullshit and cease all contact with him.

This is someone I've been talking to for quite some time. I've gotten very far with him, then finally at he last moment decided to call him out as a scammer. We've been arguing whether he's a scammer or not (and whether I'm a baiter or not) ever since.

So I figure he just got tired of it and started joking around. XD

Try reading out the lad's letter in a vaguely Russian accent, and insert the words "Mr Bond" at the end of every sentence, and you get an idea of what a self-deluded, hypocritical tosser he must be.

The main difference is that early death will not come to him via a spectacular explosion in his underground lair - it will be a far more dismal affair. Sad

I would ask him the site addy of the baiting site as you don't know what he is talking about. It would be interesting to see what he comes up with.

As for his piccy requests, ask him in what position he wants you and the missus in and does he want the goat thrown in as well? Very Happy

As I've said in other posts, this is a GOOD thing. Any scammer that twigs when someone requests a scan of an ID is liable to twig on anything off script. This means any potential vic that isn't totally compliant isn't going to be scammed.
