... to pollens in the air?
I'm scratching like crazy and taking antihistamine medication (from the doctor) and it's not getting any better by the looks of it.
Sometimes I feel like  since I'm getting kind of stressed out from it.
I've had 2 remarks today about my skin being so red and sore.
1 from the hairdressers (whose son also happens to be allergic) and 1 from the optometrist (dunno if this is the correct word, had to go in for new contact lenses). |

Me too, well in the past that is. I have some very good medication nowadays and it is working well. Also, I was advised to eat local honey before the start of hey fever seasons, so my body gets used to the pollen and will not go into overdrive when it comes into contact with the pollen. |

Taking honey is a great help, even just using it instead of sugar in your tea/coffee. The wife swears by it. |

I was informed that you should use honey from your own place. So not supermarket stuff. This will contain the same pollens that your body will have an allergic reaction to. An allergic reaction is basically your own immune system attacking something they should not attack, in this case the pollen. By getting this problem into your system in a smaller dose, for instance by eating honey, your body gets more used to it. I am not sure if this does not simply create a placebo effect, but hey, seems to help for me. Anything better than laying in bed all summer  |

Hubby's a nightmare in summer.
Nose red : Tick
Eyes red and streamy:Tick
Skin rashes and itching:Tick
Snores like an elephant:Tick.
He's now started taking antihistamines ever day, he has bee's pollen stuff he takes a spoonfull everyday and local honey.
The result...
