Don't you love the eyes of the guy in the pic at the bottom. Bloodshot as anything, almost looks like he's rabid. I sure as hell wouldn't want to come across him.

Just trying to fit these photos into the bait, who would send them to 3d? Perhaps 4my has a camera on her (have we excluded this possibility earlier??) and she's taking photos out her window or something. Or perhaps one of the Nigerians sends them to 3d to let him know what he's up against.

I love the scenario where 3d thinks he's heading for certain death but thinks it's worth it to save 4my and/or get the money. Imagine the thought processes he'd have to go through in order to make himself do such a thing.

Pirates send them to Doug (or whoever you want) using their hacked satellite internet. The person/people who receives the email then forwards the pictures to Ed.

Yup that makes good sense. An interesting end point may be if everyone can get together to convince 3d that he needs to go to the police. Imagine he goes there to tell the Singapore police that his girlfriend's been kidnapped by pirates etc. etc and when they investigate it there's nothing to go on. 3d would be done for wasting police time, and at that stage surely his false identity would rear its head.
