The sentosa beach camera looks the most promising. If I could find out exactly what part of the beach that is, I'm sure I can get him to that cam. Bonus: Looks like a ferry ride to get there. Ideal.

The island charges admission and your lad will not be able to hang out too long without ordering up those Singapore Slings.

If the question of the visa comes up again in conversation, lie to the lad. Tell him its no big deal. 1 Singapore dollar per day overstayed up to 10 days. After 10 days, its ten dollars and no reentry for a year. After thirty days, its 10 dollars and two years. If he doubts you, thats what you read on the official website. I do like the idea of a someone cooking up a fake form to be handed to the immigration official.

Excellent. So it's a bus ride, then 2 dollar admission to the island. He then heads for the bora bora bar, and that area with the trees and the wooden bench. Mid-evening Singapore time would probably be best, and on a Saturday, for the viewers.

Hard to tell what the brown thing is in the day and night webshots. Looks like a service cart or table. I don't think its a bench. Maybe someone could call them. The beach chairs, trash can and umbrellas come in at night. We need him standing in front of the trashcan. I have a feeling Bora Bora will never figure out what's happening to their bandwidth on Saturday. Laughing

Okay, I am about to call him for his 3am wakeup call. I plan to tell him that Amy was out with Oke at a bar. I had to walk through every bar in Phuket to find her. She told me that she sent the money, but I don't know where the slip is and she's too drunk and sleeping it off. Hopefully Eliza will read this before she picks up on one of Ed's phone calls.
If he asks, I'll tell him that we argued about Penang or Singapore, so we can still leave it up in the open.
By the way, I want to share this with you. I should say up front that this is not a hit (myself) on Nigerians. I post this because Ed is the reason a lot of people feel this way about Nigerians, and it's part of his email.

If not - you could say you didn't find 4my - she called you - says her cell phone is hardly getting any service - and she has traveled BY HERSELF and is on her way to Singapore to meet 3d. She couldn't wait to see him and left with Oke! She says she has wired 3d some money and is going to get to an internet cafe first thing in the morning and scan the slip.

Anyway - just let me know what to do or say - - I won't do anything until I get the 411.

Ah, I just called.... your idea sounds better, but I have added mayhem into the story so pretty much anything can happen.
I HAVE to get audacity up and working. I nearly had to hit the mute several times because Ed is extremely agitated that you are seeing Oke. He said at least 20 times "Tell her to stay away from the Nigerian. All of them are criminals" He says he can't sleep now. I told him that you wanted to go to the internet cafe and send the WU, but you wanted someone to go with you and you asked Oke. He helped you send the WU ($1500.) I don't know where the slip is and you've gone to bed to sleep it off because you and Oke went bar hopping all night long. I talked to Oke and he said he's from Abuja and is an oil contractor. I told 3d I thought he was a bullshit artist because he was trying to get me interested in overinvoiced oil contracts. Very Happy

Really funny bit is that I told him I could smell a bulshitter a mile away, he didn't even blink.
If you decide to run out on me and go to Singapore, remember that you need to go out the window, since I told him I'm sleeping in front of your door.

Ah, forgot another plot point we might like to weave in. Most of this stuff is totally lost on 3d, but if we want to use it. A while back I got a threat in Igbo from another lad. I asked 3d to translate it for me, since I don't speak Igbo. Later I sent him a newspaper article Marvinator was kind enough to generate for me. Seems the lad had commited suicide in Lithuania by going to an archery range and stabbing himself to death with a handful of arrows. I told him over the phone that I found it a little stange that you had hooked up with a Nigerian here after all that trouble in Singapore.

I'll let him get an hour's sleep, then the lawyer back in New York will call him at 4 or 5am his time, just for the * of it, and to ask him how he is. Then tomorrow morning, the Singapore lawyer will mail him with the details for the meeting.

Sounds like a great set-up. Saturday evening is like the middle of the night here in New Zealand (we're 5 hours ahead of Singapore I think) so if he does turn up it would be great for someone to record the video if that's possible.

Should be easy enough to do a couple of screen captures at the very least, and that would make a great addition to the thread.

It's very encouraging that he's delayed his flight AGAIN! Just goes to show how easily he'll change his plans if he thinks he's finally going to get his money.
