I was taking a look through my pictures of the last time I went to Lagos and I found this picture.

Look at the building in the centre of the picture.

Does anybody have any idea what happened to this building? I remember asking the stevedores who came onto my ship and none of them knew what had happened to it.

Just thought I would ask.

I think the collapsed building was a possibly a bank where there they had an explosion, as far as I remember, one person died from debris falling from the building, this probably occured around 18 months ago or so, if it's the same bulding I'm thinking of.

There was also another explosion involving a Lagos bank in 2003:
