O.K. so I got this today. I checked the headers and they're originating from Israel. Has anyone seen this and what's the scam?

My Name is Lindsey cole and i just moved out from california to boyne
city,michigan last month because of my state of work .I just contacted you
today because of a reason i felt you might like to assist.I live with my
husband and have no kid.
When i was in california i bought a bulldog-puppy from a friend of mine
2month ago which i took as my only hope since i have no kid at the age of
48,i love sassy so much and she means alot to me,She is my pet and more
like my kid since she is the only one close to me without a kid,But since
i moved sassy has been so ill and i have to take her for vet check-up
after some test the man in charge told me the weather here in michigan is
not alright for her and if care is not taken, with this weather she might
die,I wont like anything to happen to sassy ,so i am contacting you to
know if you can help me adopt sassy and take good care of her,Cause i dont
want any harm to happen to her.I am not asking you to pay anything or give
me anything for sassy all i need is your response so i can send you some
pictures of her and if you like her you can adopt her not at any cost but
all i want is a good home for sassy and to make sure she is confortable
and healthyly taken care of.Maybe if time permits me i would be coming
over when i am around to check on you.She likes playing with children and
she is akc registered.
Kindly get back to me if you interested so i can send you some pics of her.
You kindness and response would be highly appreciated.

Hmmm, I am not sure how he plans on making money out of this unless he is planning on connecting you with the shipping company and then the agency that is in charge of exporting animals and so on.
As far as the Isreali IP, that is very common. Gilat is an Isreali satellite provider that is heavily used in Nigeria and other parts of West Africa. Your lad could be just about anywhere. |

I'm guessing that you will have to send money for the dog to be posted to you. Plus transport fees etc. Tell them you have checked with the AKC and they have no record of this dog and could she please send you a scan of the certificate. |

I think it's a pay the shipping fees scam too. Plus you may have to pay for vaccinations. Why not get the lad going & then say you will pick the dog up because you can't bear to think of her in a box being shipped all over the place, the poor puppy would be terrified & confused. |

LOL That is a variation of the "adopt a yorkie puppy from a missionary in africa" scam that I baited. The problem is that the original "the weather/climate here is poor for the puppy" doesn't work so well in the USA. 
The money is definitely the shipping fees. |

I am baiting the Lovely Mrs. C0le as we speak. Ask her for pictures of the puppy. It takes some doing, but if you get the same pics, the puppy looks horribly ugly.
