- probably isn't now - after I dissed a Nigerian Senator...

The letters came under an elaborate letterhead and the first was basically telling me to cough up $4500 by Western Union. I sent various replies:

I think using the name of the President to solicit bribes is a baaaad idea. Just do your job, OK?

Quote:

You are a disgrace to your position.

Then today, from the Senator:

Quote:

We the members of the senate committee department received your e-mail this morning and we must let you know that the content of your message to our committee was very embarrassing and this is to inform you that your message has been forwarded to the office of the presidency for proper verification of your contract fund.

I, the senate president of the senate committee department is writing you to let you know that since I was appointed as the senate president, I have never received such an embarrassing message and it makes me wonder if you are truly one of our outstanding contractors, well proper investigation is being carried out on your payment file and we will not stamp and sign your payment file until we have finally proved that you are truly one of the outstanding contractors.
