to help us run our Tae Kwon Do school.
We are currently evaluating this software: www.martialartsorganizer.com
It has a database for student info, accounts recievable, inventory, etc...

We would like to check out some other software, but my Google search has been pretty vauge.

If anyone is familiar with this type of software, I'd appreciate any links to free demo's that we can check out.

Actually before I sell clients software or hardware I usually try to talk them through what they are trying to accomplish and how they think it should work. I often find that once people have a list of specific goals it becomes easy to create solutions for them.

that package looked reasonable for pricing but unless you need a POS solution you might want to take a look at http://moodle.org/ .

While it might not be exactly what you want it can be installed on an Ubunto LAMP box and then customized for what you need. Billing could be handled by gnucash on the same box.
