That happened to me once and I just put it back in it's nest with my bare hands. If thats not possible maggots or bits of worms will do the trick.
make sure its kept warm though.

put it back out. The mom will still take care of it. I've made the mistake of bringing babies in before until I learned to leave them alone. If you are afraid a cat may come or something - get a hanging basket you'd put a plant in - and hang that near the nest. The baby will make sounds and the mom will come feed it.

Please don't try to keep it inside - - please put it back out - the Mom WILL feed it - - I learned this the hard way.

And what they say about humans touching it is not true - it's a wivestale - the mom will still feed her baby.
