So I was reading one of the forums here and tried to listen to some audio that sounded like it was really fun. Unfortunately the audio is in Windows media form, but I use a mac. I'm SURE there's someone else with this combination; how can I resolve this issue? Is there some way to convert to quicktime? |

do you have trouble with stuff people place on putfile as well? I'm not sure if it's the same problem or different ones.. |

As long as you're running flip4mac, which essentially turns Quicktime into Windoze media player for wmv files, then you should be fine. The only trouble with playback you might have is with some.avi files and frankly everyone gets this as there are so many different codecs around. For that i'd recommend: http://www.videolan.org/vlc/download-macosx.html
You can still download Windows Media Player 9 for the mac but I wouldn't bother as flip works much better and its much simpler to simply run everything through quicktime. |
