Here's my kitty

He's soooooo much bigger now. He plays fetch and lets me give him a bath. He's a big fat stupid kitty and I wuv him dearly. Even though he triped me as I was going down the stairs and caused me to have a hairline fracture in my ankle.

Ahaha, now I have to show off my babies!
Since it's a bit of a funny story...I moved out of the dorms at my university last year, and I really wanted a kitten. My boyfriend, bless him, agreed to help me pay for one (though he would prefer a puppy). After a long search - 5 months - for a calico kitten in my area, I finally decided to go to a local animal shelter where my mom and dad adopted their cat and a dog, and just pick a random kitty...and was so overwhelmed by kitten cuteness that I came home with two

my boy was overjoyed, let me tell you...

but he admits now that he is very happy we got two! i'm winning...

anyway...pictures! these are a little old (from when we first got them) but my digital camera has been broken for several months now so you'll have to forgive me. EDIT - turned into links because I'm not smart enough to get them to work otherwise

The orange thing my cat was playing with is a "Dart" that comes with the nerf dart tag guns. My kid has lots of those, and the cat loves to play with them. She was hiding in a paper bag with this.

Cat sleeping, cat in the process of being woken up by someone taking his photo while he's sleeping, and cat expressing level of pleasure at the aforesaid

Cat wondering if the camera might, despite appearance, actually be safe to eat, disappointed cat having realised that camera cannot be eaten or slept on and therefore serves no useful purpose to cats.
