firefox help please

my firefox2.0 has gone mad and now i cant get access to the net.ive gone thru add/remove programs and it isnt there.
how can i uninstall it and re install.

main problems have included not been able to goto homepage,click to open new tab and search and it comes up blank and the search bar didnt work.

im running windows xp

Can't you go to START>>SEARCH>> type FIREFOX, in the results you will get the FireFox program files, click that and you get the uninstall.exe file, or just do a fresh install without uninstalling using the firefox.exe file in the search results? There is also an updater.exe file there.

bugger me,its just done it after trying now for 3hours.

everything back to normal!!!!!
