I finally got my appetite back, for now, after allergies and influenza, and depression. So, tonight, was a trip to Reno. 1/2 dozen oysters on the half shell with fresh, nuclear horseradish, coupled with Tabasco sauce and ice water. 2 raw oytster "shooters" with "peppar" Stolichnaya soak and pepper sauce and lemon juice, a small carafe of sake, an order of Unagi, and a "Caterpillar" roll with powerful wasabi. Welcome spring time , and longer days! Time to eat, and eat well! |

I am so glad that you are better.
I've been cooking alot since I got the cast off. Today I made Chicken Pot Pie, Scalloped Potatoes, Brown Beans and Brownies. It's funny how you don't eat as much when you cook it. And in this case, thats a good thing because I would gain weight.  |
