Well that certainly explains the rather bizarre messages Interp0l Agent Th0mas J0nes just received from Dan. Three messages, all within the span of twenty minutes, all saying the same thing: "I'm very disappointed in you."

Dan is back to using his tough-guy act. Fortunately, with Dan, this act doesn't last very long.

It appears as if Interp0l Agent Th0mas J0nes has gone rogue. Time to play bad cop-good cop and bring in another agent. Maybe, with Dan's help, we can free F and put J0nes behind bars where he belongs.

But first, there's that pesky matter of the t0ngue prints.

edit - Dan's first message, sent at 10:16 a.m.:

Dan felt about me, two minutes after that email I get this one:

dangerous. All you need to do is paint the front half of your tongue,
being careful not to paint too far back. This needs to be done for
both the top half and the bottom half of the tongue. I need the
photos of the tongue as well as the completed security form. Once I
have that I can get you off of the terrorist list quickly, and we can
have Agent J0nes arrested for his actions.

I go by your girlfriends cell at night and hear her crying for you.
It is a very sad site. She is in quite a bit of pain right now, all
because of Agent J0nes. And I am convinced that she truly loves you,
and wants to spend the rest of her life with you. That kind of love
does not happen everyday.

Once you are off of the terrorist list I can release your girlfriend
to you, along with the $20,000 she brought with her. In addition,
there is an Interp0l reward that you would qualify for. That fund is
around $50,000, and will be yours once Agent J0nes is arrested. But
again, none of this can happen without the security photos and form.

Please do not let Agent J0nes know that I contacted you, as my job
would be at risk. Complete the forms and photos as quickly as
possible and send them directy to me. Don't let ANYBODY else know
about this. Once I get the form and photos from you I will act
quickly.

Your girlfriends life is at stake. I know that you are a kindhearted
person, and will do what needs to be done. Again, don't tell anyone

Among his multitasks, he is still making travel plans for Ghana, as well as a randy nun I am using a passport as bait, but of course he can't travel while he is 'brook'.

Interp0l has heard nothing from him.

He has to be past "brook." I can't imagine that ding-dong being able to get any "monet" from anyone.

I was thinking that he was planning to use the Interp0l reward money he would get from narcing on Agent J0nes to finance his journey, but after a "I promise I will do it" response he has gone silent. Roy, I'd say the odds are real good that he will tell you he was robbed and needs you to send money. There's no way in hell that he's got the funds to travel to Ghana.

Then again, I've been wrong before .............

Anyone heard from him at all? last i got was on Monday, to say he was setting off for Ghana with borrowed money. Since then, zip, to any of my characters, which makes me think he hasn't been in a cafe since.

If all had gone well, he would be whining from Ghana by mow.

Either he is too 'brook' to do anything, and laying low until he begs fopr money with fresh lies, or he did set off and:

1) Arrested at the border, either Nigeria/Benin or Benin/Ghana - Dan had no ID (he says) only a forged letter from The Queen, and not much cash.

2) Stranded somewhere without enough money to go online, or he is somewhere with no internet access. If he made it all the way to Wechi4u (doubtful) the last cafe (AFIK) was in Wa, 40 Km ago.

3) Something bad happened to him.

Nothing here. I phoned his mom she keeps saying "Dan is not around" and "Dan is in Lagos". I also phoned the "sister" in Lagos and she says Dan left her last week and she does not know where he is.

Let's make sure he has a phone next time he goes on safari.

Meanwhile JayHawk and I are going to see if we can't get Dan's cafe mate to rescue F and fnd Dan.

No more emails from Dan today, I expected to come back to a full inbox. Perhaps he has made his way out to Wechi4u, where the hippo sanctuary, er, sorry, church is located.

While father J0rgens has to mysteriously dissapear while Dan stews, I'm sure he will be able to tell another of my characters how he got to Wa and how it took him all week. He obviously managed to bribe his way across 2 borders, I wonder what they made of his letter from The Queen?

As I remember, the last mugus I sent to Wa got a lift home from a Nigerian who took pity on them, in exchange for a share in the loot they never got. Last I heard one was in hospital, the other in Accra jail after I sent him back to a certain bank in Makola market. I suppose my Church still has an account there. Twisted Evil
