Dan has been asking me to send him some dough for a plane ticket from Kumasi to Nigeria. He says he is staying at his friends place () and he wants me to send the money through WU.
I've told him that the only possible way at the moment is to send the money to Prudent1al in Accra, but Dan insists me to use the "regular WU" because he wants to pick up the money in Kumasi.
I've been insulting and threatening him for the past couple of days and it remains to be seen if he is willing to <strike>spread</strike> lift his ass one more time for me...

@Frumpy, don't hate on Dan. Sure, he's as lazy as they come, but he believes everything you tell him and he's dumber than a box of rocks. I first got involved with him about a year and a half ago when I had won a BWM M3rcedes automobile. After much plodding he finally sent me a photo of the car I won. All I had to do was send him $10k to claim my $30k car. Like I said, dumber than a box of rocks.

I wonder if mama Queenie knows where he is or what he is doing.

You know, at this point I think it would be beneficial to re-introduce all of the characters involved in this opus. For my part, I've got four involved. They are:

- Pretty much out of the picture now, but J3nny was my original character that responded to Dan's lottery winning email. After being convinced that Dan had stolen the money she mailed to him, she hired...

to get her the money back. Yes, he's not just a banker, he's a Barrister as well. Dan told S0ludo that he had a briefcase (edit - sent by BadKarma) containing $20k waiting for him in Ghana. If S0ludo would pick the briefcase up he could keep the money owed to Jenny and send the rest to him. Problems occured, and the $20k briefcase ended up costing Dan $22k. Dan, of course, refused to pay up, leading to the introduction of .....

- J0nes has gone through some changes. Originally a law-and-order guy, he has recently cracked, and spends his days "partying" (as Dan would put it) with Dan's girlfriend F who has been arrested by Interp0l. Jones sends Danno pornographic emails telling him about the "partying". This disgusts an honest cop, one ....

- A youngster on the force, Cl3tus is the good cop to Jones's bad cop. Cletus wants Dan's help in bringing Jones down, but right now Dan is classified as a terrorist, and the only thing that can get him off of that list is to dip his tongue in white paint and provide tongue prints.

Dan was active this morning. The latest email from Jones, suggesting that Dan has some unusual relationships with goats, must have touched a nerve:

For my part, this has been going a little over 13 months now. Here are the chars:

- Dude who is responsible for recruiting people to XXX movies. Main character in my bait. Has sent Dan cash & phones + a dildo to Ghana earlier, opened an account for Dan with over 500k USD and is now trying to lure Dan to Prudent1al. Dan has sent him nudie photos and the infamous stretching photos too.

- Chick that Dan wants to fork. Was supposed to be the co-star in the stretching movie. After I learned that Jay had a character with almost a similar name, I started to slowly retire this char. No mails in the past couple of months if I recall right.

- Quite a new char who responded to Dan's latest "dad was killed, mom was poisoned" -email, not much to report yet.

I only have one character in this drama. model and good friend of Victoria Beckham.

Currently poor F is in an undisclosed location held by Interpol, explained above by Jayhawk. Dan did go to Lagos to try to collect her but since he safaried without a phone F could only communicate with Dan's mama back in Benin City. Mama is very unhappy with F and blames her for all of Dan's troubles.

I'm kind of opposed to having Dan and ARK meet, for the moment anyway. My character Barr1ster K0j0 is beating up on ARK in Millionaires, and he just dispatched Mr. J0e D4n1el (as Frumpy said) to Tamale to check it all out:

Dan is not speaking to F at the moment, I guess because he cannot explain himself.

Prince, the guy Dan was staying with in Ghana, said Dan was due back on Wednesday evening. (We all know that didn't happen.)

He says Dan is in a very bad way and needs some money wired and wants F to do that. Prince also talked to mama and mama is demanding that Dan come back to Nigeria.

Mama called Prince after F told her Dan was not at that number.

Roy has been keeping his head down to avoid having to bail out Dan, but I'm missing my daily emails from him, especially since Father J0rgens had to get arrested. He may be let out on bail soon, just to try and lure Dan North west again.

The more I've dealt with Dan the more I've come to the conclusion that he is mentally retarded. Seriously. I think that if he were given an IQ test it would come back below the level considered for retardation. Consider the following:

- His original scam, of which I think both Roy and I got involved in, was a lottery scam. The lucky winner won a bwm mercedes automobile. Not a bmw and a mercedes, but a bmw mercedes.

- To quote a song by the Rainmakers, "Little Queenie is pissed, cause her baby isn't home." Dan's mom seems to be really upset that Dan left home, and blames it all on that harlot F. It's been awhile since I saw a photo of Dan, but isn't he in his mid-to-late 20's? That's awful old for that type of reaction from his mom.

- Dan wouldn't try ITV5 for me. I think it's because he tried it before, and it was just too overwhelming for him.

- When he told my character (many moons ago) to send him the money through the post office I did so, sending him a large envelope with nothing more than a note in it and a slice at the bottom through regular mail service. He kept after me for about a month to go tell the post office what happened and they would give me my money back to resend to him. I couldn't get him to understand that this wouldn't work, as he didn't tell me to get insurance.

- I originally introduced my Charles S0ludo character with the intent to convince him that someone else had chopped his dollar. That didn't work, as Dan was convinced that he was actually conversing with THE Charles S0ludo, who, in addition to being the top banking dude in the region, was also a barrister.

- Dan has a really hard time remembering what happened in the past. My Interp0l agent, who has since gone rogue, threatened to beat Dan to death with a dildo. Six months later, Dan is all chummy with him and asks him for help in locating his stolen car (luckily, Inteep0l had it!) Dan has forgotten that S0ludo was the one that turned him over to Interp0l, as an email to S0ludo turns up out of the blue, wanting to be friends. So much of what Dan does defies logic, and I think that's because Dan doesn't have the mental capacity for logical thinking.

- Roy, how many months did it take for Dan to finally safari? He wouldn't safari for $20k, and he wouldn't safari for an expensive car. It was only when the decision making was turned over to the region between his legs that Dan finally left for Lagos.

Those are just some of the examples of Dan's limited mental capacity. In going back and listening to the conversations that redshoes17 posted between F and Dan it sure sounds to me like one of the participants had an IQ of a mentally disabled person. And I don't think that person was redshoes17. Very Happy

The point of my post is not to debate the ethics of baiting a mentally retarded person, although my own personal opinion is that if they have the ability to scam, and if Texas can execute them, they can certainly be baited. The last thing the mods around here need is another ethics post to lock. I guess the point of this post is that I have realized that when dealing with Dan it is best to talk to him like you would talk to a small child. Make his tasks easy and simple to understand. He seems to respond well to scoldings, as my rogue agent J0nes has gotten him pretty upset. He has gotten bolder and more confident. If I was to make a guess, I would guess that the trip to Lagos was the first time he had made a trip like that by himself.

I'm guessing that Dan got involved in scamming by watching some of the big boys at the cafe do it, and trying to be like them. Thus the asinine bmw-mercedes attempt. He desperately wants to be like the big boys. That, and the little pecker between his legs, is what motivates him.

And that's the psychological analysis of Dan from a guy whose training and background are in finance. Very Happy

Nice post Jay, I totally agree with you. Someone should really make him to take an IQ test - I'm confident that the results would prove him the be the missing link.
