As many of these -sqt-'s as emails I have sent. So I am guessing that this is some how related to how they keep track of which script to send us out next. I deleted all my emails to the prince for obvious reasons and just wanted to share this and get the groups take on it.

might be a clue in the 'sms' bit, could be something to/from a mobile phone?

coz that has the same character string. It's possible that the message was sent as plain text rather than html. This would cause it to get garbled during transmission as we cannot use the japanese character set in plain text emails, you need to use html and select the proper font.

This would explain why the email is nonsense and corrupt.

Looks like a unicode set problem.
The originator used a unicode set that's not installed on your computer.
