Dont know if this has been posted before, if it has feel free to delete it. Read this in the Daily Express this morning:

"A PENSIONER has lost ï¿½30,000 after being conned be a new scam.
Police said the vulnerable and elderly victims were being asked to send each other cheques in order to pay for the release of money from an international prize fund.
A 79-year-old woman from Shewsbury lost ï¿½30,000 of her seavings and another woman from scotland was conned out of ï¿½15,000.
Det Con Mark Hill, a fraud specialist, said at least six women had been trageted. He said "it is a hybrid of a prize fund or lottery scam and a pyramid scheme, with the only person to beiefit being the scammer at the top"

There is also a guy who lost ï¿½20,000 in a russian love scam. Seems its the week for scammers in the paper!
