Well, if you spooked him, you can always bait him again (using another e-mail account) and try a slightly different approach.

I would suggest straight-baiting at first - leave out the business about eating raw foods, bringing the dog, etc.

Instead, ask lots of questions! Your character has never been an actor, and is dying to learn what is involved.

When he asks for money, ask questions about the procedure to send it. Then use WU secure (search this board) to send the money. Also, send him a junk file and tell him it is the scanned WU transaction information. Tell him that it is in code for security reasons, and you will provide information to decode it in a separate e-mail. Then, give him bogus instructions how to decode the totally fake coded message....

Rinse. Wash. Repeat.
