Is there any way to contact Shiver Metimbers and tell him he's the greatest man alive? That thing where he got the guy to tattoo "Bated by Shiver" on his arm should have netted him a Nobel prize.

I do believe he hangs around here occasionally and sometimes may even post the odd pearl of wisdom (or is that a pearl of odd wisdom Wink

The only way to reach Shiver is to send him an email. Now, you must understand that a man of his importance only read the really important emails. So to make sure he reads your mail, please make sure that you type in ALL CAPS. I would suggest a nice introduction, such as:

The Mod team takes turns pretending to be him- this week it's NN and next week it will be Lotta.

You can tell if you read his posts that different people are posting as him.

As far as contacting the great man goes, he does occasionally do book signings in Waterstones. He's the one in the reverse balaclava and safari combat gear, next to the body art section.
