If you catch the cat, put it's legs into Smartie tubes. It wont fix your concrete, but you can laugh at it walking like a robot.

If that wasn't bad enough, I got home from work tonight, opened the back door - had my hands full of bags & left the door open for a minute. Came back into the kitchen & the little sod was in the house! There are 2 of them round here - 1 black with white bits which hangs around the front & craps on the lawn, the other white with black bits which hangs around the back & in addition to the concrete, has pi**ed in my shed & all over my bike cover. Next addition to the house is a searchlight & 20mm cannon. Evil or Very Mad

Put vinegar in a spray bottle and spray all around foundation, floor beds, and walks. They hate the smell! Be careful not to get on flowers, trees and such, it will kill them and it also kills weeds! Very Happy

On weeds-full strength
Everything else-dilute half with water
When the cats return-repeat, I had it to last a year one time. I think it was a dry year and it did not wash away.

I find it morally repugnant hat you are holding the cat responsible for enhancing the concrete. Wink

The council were laying a concrete path next door, quite a few years ago. The workmen had to relay the path about four or five times before they gave up. Also, a cat had crapped in someone else's fresh croncrete but no one noticed it until it was too late, and there was a turd shaped hole in the concrete.

I found that airsoft (or softair in Italian) guns not only keep cats at bay but also provide for hours of entertainment. Hardly anything beats the velocity of a 2 year old asphalt-grey cat trying to escape 20 g BBs shot at 400 rpm from a M-16 replica with laser pointer. Use a silencer to make sure it takes the cat a while to figure out where the assault comes from.

It might take some skill to keep the cat off the concrete but if it does it will leave way less imprints (something like 3 yards in between).

^^^Or there is always the airsoft Mini Moscat grenade launcher. 180 odd BB's in a giant cloud. Non lethal/damaging, but guarenteed to get rid of cats.

Apparently, Paignton zoo sell bags of lion's excrement which, when spread on the garden will keep cats away.

The downside is that your garden smells of lion shit.
