one of the oldest scams in the book. side note: i know 2 guys that worked for a company that did this scam. the company advertises around colleges in hopes of getting students to work on the cheap. they offer "bonuses" for making the most sales. they provide all the speakers and glossy adds with the high prices and the vans as well. if you actually ask for a "bonus" they like to call you into an office and pull out a gun and set it in plain view on a desk. sadly, these scams are legal in the u.s. and not much can be done about them, unless you work there and are threatened at gunpoint. if that happens, you can call the cops. if you're a victim of the scam, i think the only recourse you have is with the BBB or maybe a local news station's "scam buster" segment.

Fixed.
This is one of the reasons why we don't necro old threads is that members and even the OP who participated in the thread may not be here anymore.
In this case, the OP was a driveby troll who never came back. |
