I recently started a bait using the "Helpless-old-person-who-doesn't-have-a-clue" modality. Here is a brief summary:
*I email mugu. The reply is rather garbled, with his original message repeated several times in it.
*Mugu emails me, asking me to email him various informations.
*I "loose" the email, asking him to send the questions again.
*Nothing happens.

Yesterday I sent him the following:

I wrote:

Dearie,

I haven't heard from you for a while. Is everything okay? You may want to know that I have won the lottery``1qQ|. When will I be able to help you with your money?

Goodbye Dearie,

Old Mrs. Galloway

And today I received this:

Is that any way to treat a rich old woman with lots of money? What gives?

Don't under any circumstances drop out of character. It is the suggested behaviour here at 419eater.com and is also the way to damage his brain and make him furious.

Ask him if that's the way they treat old people in his country. Tell him that God wil punish him and that he is an unworthy son. Make him believe you and if he does - then hit him hard.

Scramble his brains so he doesn't know a baiter from a victiim. Make him afraid of his inbox. Twisted Evil

The Nasser Kojok in my signature swore and cursed me - complimented me and did everything he could to make me admit I was a baiter. I could feel his sweat dripping on the keyboard.

Involve Interpol, EFCC, and the FBI. You know where he lives, and time is fleeting. Tell him to watch his back. Especially when moving around his town, or getting close to an internet cafe. Ive had similar responses before, Gomer is right, stay in character, Ive actually kept some baits running by sending stuff like "Why are you insulting me? Have I done anything wrong, when do I get my money?" and other stuff like that.

I haven't told off any of my laddies yet out of character, and I don't really think I ever will. I totally agree with the "make them wonder" bit. It is FAR more fatisfying to me to mess with their heads than any fleeting insult-satisfaction.

Kinda like how I do PVP games- I try to deny the enemy any satisfaction out of nailing me with less than 5 of his buddies.

Keep them wondering. I have to remember to act like each bait is the only one I'm dealing with, keep them all current. A real victim would respond that way, and so shall I!

Hell, even the guy who I'm asking for girls to butcher will stay in character. I'm just surprised he reponded to THAT at all! Very Happy

Boy, is that going to mess with his head.
