Hi all, I'm hoping someone here will know my best course of action with regards to this:
I have a domain name that I've had registered for the past few years with complete-domains.com, which was until recently owned by Complete Internet Services. complere-domains.com became host4apound.co.uk, which has now disappeared.
At the end of December, I needed to renew the domain name. The Host4APound website had disappeared. However, I checked the whois record for the domain and found that while I was still listed as the registrant, there were contact details for the Administrative contact. I emailed him to see if it would be possible for me to transfer the domain to another provider, and he said he'd get right on it.
He didn't, the domain expired, I emailed him, and he said he'd renew for me free of charge, and once it had all processed, he'd sort out the transfer. This was about new year. The domain renewed, and I haven't heard from him since.
I've emailed him from various addresses, emailed another address of his which he replied to me from a few times, and even called him, and I either get no reply, or an answer phone. I've left messages and heard nothing.
So now I've got a domain registered in my name, but no way of using it. Is there anything I can do to get the domain either transfered or deleted so that I can re-register it with a different provider? I'm completely at a loss. |
