Joe, this is your third or fourth 'farewell' thread. I was wondering if you could be specific in your jackbooty claims or hard arsed harassment? Every time I've had to delete/remove/amend one of your inappropriate or misguided posts I've been polite and PM'd you about it. Every time you have responded with, 'Thanks, sorry.'
You can't go making big bold statements and just wander off. Of course we make playful comments, every here does. We also have to try and guide new members to the safe, ethical and sensible way of baiting. Often we get the, 'Fuck off. I know better than you.' response. Oh, the list of spammers, new member abuse and the steady flow of never ending trolls does wear us a little thin.
Survival here is very easy - Use your common sense. We are not peoples moral compass - We're here to help new members orientate themselves, keep the board clean and free of lunatics and provide guidance, advice and expertise where it's required.
We do not arbitrarily ban and stomp on people. Someone may feel victimised if they feel their freedom of speech rights have been violated, but the truth is, the constitution does not apply to this board.
If you have a genuine complaint, take it up with one of the admins, or another mod. We will find out about it soon enough. Shiver takes those complaints seriously. So do we. You can remain anonymous. |
