I've been baiting a puppy scammer, straight bait, just waisting his time from 3 different addys, on one of my accounts, the shipping company got it wrong and said they were gonna ship my beautiful pup to USA. I am in UK.

I'm so upset, I haven't heard anything from you about my Beccy. I told you how upset I was with D3ltap3ts didn't I? Well, they've really upset me. How can we possibly entrust our beautiful puppy to them when they are obviously not capable of even getting the COUNTRY she's going to right???!
Now, my brother works for ********* and he flies into Lagos, so if you give me your address, he says he can pick Beccy up!! That way we'll both know she's safe!!
Or, you could meet him at the airport with her!!!!
Oh, I don't know why I didn't think of this before!!

How are you doing today, i must tell you that am sorry for the late response.

I am suprise that you dought the shipping company i want to use in shipping the puppy, i must tell you that i made my research before using them, well as for the mistake am sure there must be a reason for that but the agent called me and explained everything to me and i must say its a very terrible mistake but we should not use that to judge the company because they have a very good reputation and experience in shipping all kinds of pets and i trust them that is why i want to use them so i do not see why we should not use them because of the mistake which he told me hs has already corrected, so Nitty i want you to try and reconsider them okay and trust me i beleive that there service will be okay and i also believe that my adorable BECCY will be taking good care of in transit and she will arrive safely to her new home.

So ****** i want you to have faith and believe will be okay.

So i want you to go ahead and make the payment for the shipping and like the agent told me that if the shipping charges is payed today that will will make sure that BEKKY leaves today and by tomorrow you will receive her in your home.

Do make sure you get in touch with the agent with the payment details asap.

Any ideas would be gratefully received....

but a question on you leading mail out, what are you sorry for?

what you could do is

+ say that since they got the information wrong, you want him to find a new shipping agent - this will make them open up an email just for you to respond too.

+ say that you've already explained the situation and your brother can come and pick up the puppy. The guy will not like this and it is possible that he could drop you, but I've done this before with 50/50 success rate. If they don't email you back, email them and tell them that the shipping company is fine (or go with the first one I mentioned) ((90% success for me on that)).

+ does this "shipping company" have a website? If you do not know, just ask the guy and I'm sure he'll direct you to some other real company, or make a fast move and put up a website (which you then can report Twisted Evil

. )

+ follow along with what he says and go with the "receipt" scan of your transaction to make it look real (of course using Moneygram, since they won't be able to track it).

I play puppy scammers as straight as possible till the payment comes into play. It's really hard to give advice on what to do next, just play this as any other 419 standard, it basically follows the same format, except with pets involved.

@Radden - I've told him that my brother will be in Lagos on Tuesday (tomorrow) and he will give him money if laddo will take the pup, but I've also left the door open for another shipping company to sort it if that's what he wants.
We'll see where it goes..... Confused

I had a nice bait with a puppy-lad telling him that actually I need the puppies to EAT them (referring to the Chinese people who actally eat dog`s meat).

At first he did not want to send his two dogs but at the end of my bait he agreed that God has made animals to be eaten by man.

The puppies had a weight of 15 kg each at the end of the bait and he asked for the transporting fees of 400 U$ Razz

@Mathias - Did you also ask him for Moguay meat? I think I remember a reading a bait where the baiter wanted the dogs for meat. V Funny!!
I'm playing him pretty straight at the moment, but as he told me he'd bought coats for the puppy, I asked to see photo's which he duly sent. Then I told him I would pay extra if the dog had 'paw protectors'. He says he's bought them, and is going to send me a photo of my little pup with them on.
I'm trying to think of other little items my puppy needs.....

(I have no idea what 'paw protectors' are, or even if they exhist, so I'm looking forward to the photo's....)

I've slapped my lad and said that I refused to use the shipping company he first requested because it was pants.
I've just recieved this from him.....

After going through what you have said about the deltapet airline, now am also not sure about them anymore so i have contacted another shipping company the ANIMANSWAY i meet an agent there who have giving me all the informations required from me to make the shippment to you there website is www.animalsaway.com i will like you to look through it and email me back then i will have you contact the agent yourself and if you will not be ablt to do that i will help you contact him myself and get all the details that will be required for the shippment and the cost then i will email you my self.

I've checked out this website and it's been going sonce '04 and seems pretty legit to me. It's registered in Pheonix.
Why would the lad want me to contact a shipping company direct adn pay them the money??? Is this website part of the scam? If he was asking me to check it out then go through him, fair enough, but it seems to me he's just telling me to pay them.
I don't get it!

Make sure that you send him some really big pics (cos downloading them takes ages in cafes!!!) of horrible 1970's decor and make sure your dog's paw protectors match the decor... then change your mind often... Twisted Evil

@IWM - It is indeed a strange twist, perhaps to see if you are genuine? Or, when you get the details he says that you have to send him the money and then he sends the dog? This has got me puzzled.

I've emailed him to say I like this shipping company, I need rabies vac cert, health cert, copy of passport and weight/size of dog.

Besides paw protectors, you'll need nail protectors too, to keep the puppy from scratching your expensive hardware floors. Mr. Barkins always wore them, and the new puppy has to come with them too. Don't have the URL handy, but they are plastic tips for each claw on each foot.

He's just replied to say he's sorted all the info with this new shipping company and I owe them $550. He's still saying that I should pay the shipping company direct, but I think now that the info he's gonna give me will be his own.

I've nipped that one in the bud already by saying that I've been in touch with the company and they've sent me payment deails. That should annoy him Twisted Evil

Do you think I should let the real shipping company know what their websites being used for? D'ya think they would care?
I don't really want to get his email addy closed down coz I can't see what good that would do. Confused

I've been baiting Ray for a while and was surprised that the price has now changed from $350 to $550. Must be tied to the price of fuel.

When he sends me to his shipping agent, who can't seem to figure out how to open those western union receipts I scan, he gets a nice slapping and then I go back and tell Ray how incompetent he is. They both seem to be the same person of course (same IP), and I'm still trying to get Ray to badmouth his shipping agent. Wink

He's really angry with me because I've sent the money to the shipping agent and that wasn't his plan!!
I've told him that he should get in touch with Animals4way and they told me they would give him a refund.
He really is quite funny when he gets angry...

I've not given a lad a slap before but was in a bad mood last night because I put my new blue sheets in with a towel and white shirt.

So, I got an email from this lad telling me he's not happy with me making payment to this shipping company (which turns out to be legit) and he wants me to make the payment to......(you'll never guess...) ....Western Union.
He told me if I cared about the puppy, then I should do this immediately.

So...
